1. What this policy covers
It describes what data YouDate (a bot and Mini App in Telegram) collects, why, who sees it, how long it is kept and how to delete it. It follows the personal data laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. What we receive
From Telegram when you log in: Telegram ID, username (if any), interface language. Telegram does not give us your phone number, and we do not ask for it.
From you:
- name, date of birth (others see only your age), gender, city, dating goal, interests, bio;
- profile photos;
- a verification selfie, if you choose to verify;
- an approximate location, only if you allow location access. We round it to about 1 km before storing it; exact coordinates are never kept;
- search settings: who to show, age, distance, city.
While you use the service:
- swipes, likes, super likes, matches and chats inside the service;
- which profiles were shown to you and which you opened, to run and improve the feed;
- reports and blocks, moderation decisions;
- payments and active paid features;
- time of last activity.
Photos are compressed on your device when uploaded, and the photo's technical data (EXIF, including GPS tags) is removed.
3. Why
- to create your profile and show it to suitable people;
- to build your feed from your filters, shared interests, dating goal, distance, activity and profile completeness. We do not infer health, religion, ethnicity, political views or other sensitive traits;
- likes, matches and chat;
- moderation and protection from fake profiles, spam and fraud;
- taking payments, switching on paid features, delivering gifts;
- Telegram notifications: matches, likes, messages, moderation, payments;
- anonymised service statistics;
- legal obligations.
Legal grounds: your consent, the contract (Terms of Service) and legal requirements.
4. Who sees your data
Other users see: name, age, city, goal, interests, bio, approved photos, the "Verified" mark and an approximate distance ("3 km") if you both turned on location.
On a mutual like (a match) the bot tells the other person your Telegram username (@name), if you have one and "Show my username on a match" is on in your profile (it is on by default). You can turn it off at any time under "Profile".
Never shown to other users: Telegram ID, username (except on a match, as above), date of birth, coordinates, verification selfie, reports, payments, moderation history. Only the two participants see a chat.
Third parties: we do not sell data. We share only what is necessary with:
- Telegram, the platform the service runs on, and its Telegram Stars payments;
- Click and Payme, when you pay with them;
- OpenAI (USA): the text of incoming messages when auto-translate is on in a chat, only the text itself, without your name, photos or Telegram ID, to translate it into your language. OpenAI does not use this data to train models and keeps it for up to 30 days to prevent abuse. Auto-translate can be switched off in every chat;
- the hosting provider and content delivery network (CDN) the service runs on;
- state authorities, on a lawful request.
5. Where data is stored
The service's database and photos are hosted on servers in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Some data is processed abroad by Telegram itself and by the delivery network; this is needed for the service to work inside Telegram. When auto-translate is on in a chat, message text is sent to OpenAI (USA) for translation. By using the service you agree to this transfer.
6. How long we keep data

7. Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Logins are checked against Telegram's signature. Selfies are stored separately from profile photos and only moderators can see them. Access to data is restricted and moderator actions are logged.
8. Your rights
You can find out what data we hold about you, correct it, delete your profile and withdraw consent.
- Correct data: Profile → Edit.
- Delete your profile: Profile → Delete profile. It is hidden from everyone at once; the data is erased after 30 days.
- Data or deletion requests: mars.mirzabaev@gmail.com or Telegram @youdate_support. We reply within 3 working days; deletion on request takes up to 30 calendar days.
After you withdraw consent we stop processing, except for data we must keep by law (payments) or to prevent abuse (number of reports). You may also contact the authority responsible for personal data protection.
9. Changes
A new version is published at this address with a new date. We will tell you about significant changes in the app.
